The X Factor 2014 week 4 results elimination prediction

We predict tonight’s bottom two and the act we think will leave.

Tonight another act will leave The X Factor 2014 during the results show.

Last night Jack Walton hung up his mic and guitar and left the competition in the first of the weekend’s eliminations. The youngster failed to impress with his performance of Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love and he left the show based on receiving the least votes from the public.

Tonight normal business will resume with a sing-off that will see one more act leave the competition. We’ve put together our predictions below.

We’re starting to feel a bit mean now but Only The Young have to be close to the end of their X Factor journey. Last night they sang pretty terribly again with out of tune vocals on the verses and the whole act just feels a bit too childish to work in the mainstream. They would be great as children’s entertainers though.

We have to agree with Cheryl on this one. We were big fans of Jay’s until he appeared on The X Factor. Since then, like Cheryl, we’re struggling to figure out where Jay would fit in the industry and his singing hasn’t been great on the show. He tends to over-sing and over-perform which makes everything feel a bit laboured. We think he could be in trouble tonight.

Who will go?

If our bottom two prediction is right we think that Only The Young’s time may be finally up. The cheesy foursome will go on to have great success in children’s entertainment but we don’t want to see them ruining more songs next week on The X Factor.

The X Factor 2014 continues at 8pm tonight. Tune in to find out if our predictions are right.
