Top 5 Strictly Come Dancing 2014 week 6 performances

Strictly Come Dancing 2014’s Halloween Week was the best show of the series so far and it served up a real mixed bag of tricks and treats.

As the weeks go on the competition is getting closer and closer and it’s impossible to tell who will be going each week. There was a little change on the leaderboard with Mark Wright and Karen Hauer storming up to second place.

We’ve selected our Top 5 performances of the week so keep reading to find out who we thought was the best last night.

5. Simon Webbe & Kristina Rihanoff

Ok so we know that the performance had a mishap in the middle but the concept and the choreography was superb. Kristina really knows how to put on a performance and she got the best out of Simon for sure. Despite the mistake we still loved the routine.

4. Caroline Flack & Pasha Kovalev

We didn’t agree with the judges on this one. Caroline gave her all and we didn’t think it was clean or clinical. Pasha put together a really fun routine that used the ballroom well and we thoroughly loved every moment of it.

3. Pixie Lott & Trent Whiddon

Pixie, Pixie, Pixie! That’s how to make a dance look completely effortless. Pixie and Trent are a fantastic partnership and the characterisation in the performance was incredible. We loved all the little details in it too!

2. Mark Wright & Karen Hauer

Hello dark horse. Mark Wright started off this series good but not fantastic. As the weeks have gone by he’s just getting better and better and we can’t wait to see what he’s going to do next. His Jive was absolutely fantastic last night.

1. Frankie Bridge & Kevin Clifton

Frankie was back on form this week and that performance completely stole the show. Kevin’s choreography was stunning and the Wicked theme was absolutely perfect. Bruno wasn’t the only one close to tears by the end of the performance.

Strictly Come Dancing 2014 continues tonight at 7.20pm on BBC One. Tune in to find out who will be going home.
