Adam Garcia is returning to Got To Dance for the show’s upcoming fifth series.
Adam’s return to Got To Dance coincides with the show’s brand new format which will see the judges mentoring their own dancers throughout the series for the first time. Adam will rejoin Ashley Banjo and Kimberly Wyatt who will each take six acts through the competition.
During the live rounds each judge will take control of a single episode helping shape music, themes, styling and choreography for their acts, as well as performing themselves.
Adam Garcia said: “I’m thrilled to be back on the Got To Dance judging panel and can’t wait to work with Kimberly and Ashley again. However, this year we’re going head to head as we’re picking our favourite acts to mentor. I’m so excited that for this year we’ll be able to work so closely with our chosen dancers and really invest in every aspect of their act.”
For the new series The Roundhouse in Camden will replace the Domes used in the past four series. The live shows and the final will be broadcast from Earls Court with a 6,000 strong audience. The live shows will air across a single week in August and the winner will get £250,000.
