Kylie video poll numbers 10 to 6 revealed

This week sees the release of the eagerly anticipated new album ‘Kiss Me Once’ from pop royalty Ms Kylie Minogue.  What more of an excuse do we need to have our very own Kylie week here at EF.

We’ll kick things off by revealing what you have chosen as you favourite Kylie videos.  We had hundreds of votes and today we’ll give you the 5 videos that landed in the bottom half of the top 10.  At there’s two videos tied in 10th place:

10.  Love At First Sight

Taken from the album:  Fever
Interesting Fact:  The Director of the video was actually a bit of a popstar himself back in 1993 as Stakka Bo having a UK top 20 hit with ‘Here We Go’.  He’s since directed music videos for Madonna, Robyn, Robbie Williams and more as well as doing this video for Kylie.

10. Put Yourself In My Place

Interesting Fact:  This video was based on a scene from the movie Barbarella and eagle eyed fans spotted that there was a continuity error as she removes her space suit’s left arm twice!

8. Get Outta My Way

Director: Alex Large & Liane Sommers
UK Chart peak: 12
Taken from the album:  Aphrodite Interesting Fact:  This is Kylie’s second video to be filmed in the famous Pinewood Studios (where James Bond has been filmed in the past).  The other was her 1991 single ‘Shocked’.

7. Better The Devil You Know

Director: Paul Goldman
UK Chart peak: 2
Taken from the album:  Rhythm Of Love
Interesting Fact:  The first video where Kylie took creative control of her image and upped the raunch factor.  Thought to be encouraged by then boyfriend Michael Hutchence – she’s even said to be wearing one of his rings in the clip.

6. Timebomb

Director:  Christian Larson
UK Chart peak: 31
Taken from the album:  n/a
Interesting Fact:  This track and its video were unleashed to an unsuspecting public as part of Kylie’s K25 celebrations in 2012.  It was shot in Soho without warning the onlookers – can you imagine if Kylie suddenly stepped out in front of you!
