Fargo coming to Channel 4 in Spring

Channel 4 has secured the UK premiere broadcast rights for new 10-part series Fargo which is based on the film of the same name.

Due to air on the channel in Spring 2014, the series is an original adaptation by novelist/writer Noah Hawley and is executive produced by Hawley, Warren Littlefield, Joel & Ethan Coen and Geyer Kosinski. Fargo stars Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk, Allison Tolman and Oliver Platt. It will follow an all-new ‘true crime’ story with new characters.

Channel 4 Chief Creative Officer Jay Hunt says; ā€œFargo is a perfect Channel 4 show ā€“ a dark comedy, beautifully directed with a stunning cast. We are excited to be bringing it to a British audience.ā€
