Walkers will debut their new advert for their Do Us A Flavour competition tonight on ITV.
Airing from 7.30pm, the ad sees Gary Lineker going about his normal day before being hounded by people desperate to tell him their flavour suggestions. Do Us A Flavour is asking people to submit their flavour ideas with the chance of winning £1 million.
Commenting on the advert, Gary says; “Do Us a Flavour was hugely successful in 2008 and I had a lot of people come up to me in the street to suggest their own flavours, so it was almost mirroring reality to film this ad – just on a more extreme scale. It’s been hilarious hearing people’s suggestions – there really are some weird and wonderful ideas in there and this time round it’s great to see home grown British ingredients used. It will be exciting to seeing the finalist’s flavours go on sale so everyone can try them”.
The Walkers Do Us A Flavour competition launched on 3rd January and over 45,000 people have entered already. To submit a flavour idea go to www.walkers.co.uk, pick one of six home grown ingredients as a base and then create a one-off flavour to be in with a chance of winning Walkers’ biggest ever prize.
