Mr Selfridge is returning to ITV for a new series on Sunday 19th January at 9pm it has been confirmed.
The show proved a huge hit for ITV and is based upon the life of flamboyant American entrepreneur Harry Gordon Selfridge who founded the world-renowned store on London’s Oxford Street in 1909.
The second series picks up the story in 1914 as the store celebrates its 5th anniversary of training. Jeremy Piven returns as Harry with Katherine Kelly (Coronation Street) reprising her role as Lady Mae Loxley who this series has her husband Lord Loxley (Aidan McArdle) in tow.
The unexpected return of Lord Loxley creates tensions and animosity to drive a wedge between Harry and Lady Mae. It sounds to us like it’s going to be an interesting series.
