Ed Sheeran announces headline tour

Ed Sheeran has announced the details of his first headline tour since Autumn 2012.

Breaking the news to his fans Sheeran said, “I can’t wait to tour this new record; it’s been a long time coming. Looking forward to touring the UK and Ireland once again!”

The tour will kick off at Dublin’s O2 Arena on Monday 6th October and will see Sheeran play 12 dates across the UK and Ireland. The tour will come to a close in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro Arena on Thursday 30th October.

Sheeran is expected to release the follow-up to his global smash debut album + this year.

Sat 11th – Leeds, First Direct Arena
Sun 12th – London, The O2
Mon 13th – London, The O2
Sun 19th – Birmingham, LG Arena
Mon 20th – Birmingham, LG Arena
Thurs 23rd – Nottingham, Capital FM Arena
Sat 25th – Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
Mon 27th – Manchester, Phones 4U Arena
Tues 28th – Manchester, Phones 4U Arena
Thurs 30th – Glasgow, SSE Hydro Arena

Tickets for the shows go on-sale at 9am on Friday from all the usual outlets.
