With Christmas fast approaching, the latest predictions from entertainment betting experts OLBG suggest that Wham! could be heading for a festive hat-trick, as ‘Last Christmas' leads the race to become the 2025 UK Christmas Number One.
The timeless classic, originally released 39 years ago, finally hit the top of the charts in both 2023 and 2024 — and now stands as the clear favourite to repeat the feat this December, with odds of 1/2 and a 66.7% chance of success.
Following closely behind are KPop Demon Hunters, whose viral hit ‘Golden' from the recent Netflix release has surged in popularity despite not being a Christmas song, giving it a 33.3% chance of claiming the festive crown. Rising American star Alex Warren and global superstar Ed Sheeran both sit at 4/1 (20.0%), while pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift round out the main contenders.
Here’s the full rundown of the 2025 UK Christmas Number One odds, according to OLBG:

Entertainment betting expert Jake Ashton from OLBG said: “Wham! are strong odds-on favourites for a third straight Christmas Number One, and it’s hard to see them being stopped unless a major charity single or viral track breaks through. KPop Demon Hunters could be the wildcard if streaming momentum continues into December.”
