Nik Miles has released quirky new song I Lost A Friend which explores the experience of being unfriended by someone through social media.
Co-written with Todd Bird, and released through Double Treble Publishing, the song is a satirical take on social media in the 21st Century. It dramatically follows the hilarity of the pain of having lost a friend through social media.
“Todd and I felt that it would be fun to collaborate on something that almost everyone can relate to,” said Miles. “It’s a fun song, and we all know someone who’s had to deal with the sudden, irrevocable heartache of having been ‘unfriended’ through social media. The song is a satirical take on pop culture of the 21st Century.”
