Jamie Dornan is set to play Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie it has been reported.
Variety claims that the Irish actor will take on the role which British actor Charlie Hunnam pulled out of 2 weeks ago. Dornan is best-known for his roles in ABC’s Once Upon a Time and BBC drama The Fall alongside Gillian Anderson.
Fifty Shades of Grey is due to go into production soon with a release date set August 2014. The film will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and is based on the book by EL James.
Dornan’s casting has been officially confirmed and he has been rumoured since Hunnam dropped out of the project.
