The first trailer for the upcoming third season of Homeland has debuted.
The show is set to return in the US on Sunday 29th September on Showtime with a UK air date expected to follow in October. Producers have labelled the new season as Homeland 2.0.
At the end of season two an explosion at the CIA headquarters put everyone in danger and changed the lives of Brody (Damian Lewis), Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) and Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). The new trailer shows the three characters in the aftermath.
