Joss Whedon has confirmed that the name of the new Avengers movie will be Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The writer/director took to the stage at San Diego Comic Con to make the announcement. Ultron is an Avengers villain who appeared in the comic books and is popular with fans of the series.
The sequel will be the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed box-office dominating 2012 hit Avengers Assemble which starred Robert Downey Jr, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is expected to be released in summer 2015.
