Secret Garden Party reveals Thursday line up

Secret Garden Party has revealed details of Thursday’s Temple Of Boom line up. You know what to expect, hot new music from a variety of genres but mainly just great tunes designed to make you want to dance through the night. Thursday night it’s time for the Rock n Rave vs. Folk Off with set from Will Joseph Cook, Sykur, Mayaeni, Jeremy Loops, Death By Chocolate, Killaflaw Djs, Mark Jones and Jagz Kooner.

Details for the Temple of Boom’s further line up curated by Eddy Temple Morris

Will Joseph Cook turned only 16 this May and is already attracting the attention of the public and the industry in equal measure. The young artist has supported Tom Odell in Manchester and Odell was so impressed with him he decided to tweet about it. Long story short the promoters behind the Rolling Stones in Hyde Park got wind of Cook’s raw talent and decided get him to perform at the event. Will is already looking forward to Secret Garden Party: “Secret Garden has been on my mental wish list of parties to go to for a long time .. Totally stoked, thank you!”

Hailing from Iceland the hometown of Bjork, Sigur Ros, Of Monsters and Men and Gus Gus, SYKUR is the latest and hottest new act to reach our shores. The band is made of Agnes Björt Andradóttir, Halldór Eldjárn, Stefán Finnbogason and Kristján Eldjárn. SYKUR started as a trio back in 2008 while Halldór, Stefán and Kristján were still at school. Singer Agnes joined in 2011 thus completing the band and bringing with her a unique combination of sneering Courtney Love attitude and Donna Summer disco-fabulousness.

“It’s no secret that SYKUR are becoming super-excited for playing at secret garden party. We look forward to bringing some sugar-sweet sounds to Cambridgeshire” Halldór Sykur

With acts like this the opening night at the festival is sure to be something special.
