Wicked breaks Milton Keynes Theatre records

Wicked has broken box office records in its first week of tickets going on sale at Milton Keynes.

Due to be performed at the venue in February 2012, Wicked has given Milton Keynes Theatre the highest grossing ticket sales in its history. The theatre has been encouraging people to book early to get the best tickets and make sure they have the hottest ticket in town.

General Manager of Milton Keynes Theatre Mike Keane said ā€œEveryone at the theatre is buzzing with the news that the first ever UK tour of Wicked will be landing on our stage next year and it seems our audiences feel the same! Tickets are literally flying out of Box Office for this show which delivers the best of West End quality to your doorstepā€.

Michael McCabe, Executive Producer (UK & Ireland) of Wicked commented: ā€œWe are all delighted to have broken Box Office records at the Milton Keynes Theatre and would like to thank all the venue staff as well as the ticket buyers themselves for helping us achieve this incredible milestoneā€.

Tickets are on sale now at Milton Keynes Theatre Box Office: 0844 871 7652 (transaction fee), www.atgtickets.com/miltonkeynes (transaction fee)
