Bestival festival has revealed details of its Ambient Forest late night Amphitheatre programme, which will be filled with live scores, cult classics, documentaries and short films. Each night will be part of the Films In The Forest theme to which Rob da Bank said: “The Films in the Forest were such a success last year with people raving to the Chemical Brothers Don’t Think, right through to scaring the bejesus out of themselves to David Lynch films that we had to repeat it. The films selected this year are just as cool and I’m delighted Fake Blood himself will be doing a horror soundtrack and the hip-hop night looks ace too… see you in the Woods”
Thursday night you can enjoy Gum’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea but also Dave Grohl’s Sound City and The Outer Edges. Friday night is Rapper’s Delight with DJ Woody’s Big Phat 90s Mixtape and Beat Street. Fright Night is Saturday with Fake Blood’s Suspiria and classic horror Evil Dead II. Sunday will be Outsiders night with Easy Rider and Naked Lunch.
And if all the movies don’t appeal then the amazing line-up including Florence and The Machine and Elton John might do!
