Doctor Who will be made in 3D to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

The BBC have announced that fans will be able to watch Doctor Who in 3D as part of its special 50^th anniversary celebrations later this year.

Doctor Who will be celebrating its 50^th birthday in November, and the episode will coincide with the festivities.

Steven Moffat, Doctor Who writer, said the 3D episode would “bring a whole new dimension of adventure for the Doctor to explore.”
