Adam Lambert receives Unity Award

Adam Lambert was presented with a Unity Award at last night’s We Are Family Foundation Celebration gala in New York.

Taking place at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the Unity Award honours artists who are ‘spreading peaceful messages through their music’. In celebration of the award Adam performed his track Shady with Sam Sparro and music legend Nile Rodgers.

Adam recently celebrated his 31st birthday and was given a surprise lap dance by actor David Arquette. For his birthday he asked fans to donate to We Are Family Foundation and so far has raised over $41,000.
