Michael Vaughan leaves Strictly Come Dancing

The former cricketer’s time is up on the dance floor.

Michael Vaughan was the latest celebrity to leaveStrictly Come Dancing during tonight’s results show.

The former cricketer and his partner Natalie Lowe found themselves in the bottom two with former Westlife singer Nicky Byrne and his partner Karen Hauer.

Michael and Natalie were first to perform as they tried once again to impress with their Samba. Nicky and Karen followed with their Argentine Tango. How did the judges vote?

Craig saved Nicky and Karen calling them ‘sensational’. Darcey said both couples upped their game but she saved Nicky and Karen. Bruno said Nicky and Karen had a licence to thrill and saved them. With the majority vote Michael Vaughan and Natalie Lowe left the competition.

The show opened with a Charleston group dance from the Strictly professionals and music tonight came from JLS and Alfie Boe.

Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday night at 6.50pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
