Madonna will release new studio album ‘Confessions II' on 3rd July 2026 via Warner Records, after months of speculation.
The new album is a continuation of her celebrated 2005 album ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor', which featured the iconic single ‘Hung Up'. With the lead single due to arrive imminently, Madonna has released a visual teaser that gives fans a taste of what's to come.
Fans can pre-order the album and the ultimate curation of expansive vinyl, CDs and cassette offerings now at https://madonna.lnk.to/Confessions2.
Madonna sums up her new record best by quoting the first few lines of her song, ‘One Step Away', “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”

Madonna adds “When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto”:
We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies. These are things that we've been doing for thousands of years — they really are spiritual practices. After all, the dance floor is a ritualistic space. It’s a place where you connect
—with your wounds, with your fragility. To rave is an art. It's about pushing your limits and connecting to a community of like-minded people.
Sound, light, and vibration
Reshape our perceptions
Pulling us into a trance-like state.
The repetition of the bass, we don’t just hear it but we feel it.
Altering our consciousness and dissolving ego and time.”
‘Confessions II' will be Madonna's first studio album since 2019's ‘Madame X', which saw her collaborate with Columbian superstar Maluma on the hit single ‘Medellín'. In 2023 and 2024, Madonna toured extensively with her first hits tour ‘The Celebration Tour'.
We'll bring you more news on ‘Confessions II' as soon as it comes in and we can't wait to hear the set's first single.
