Morgan Wallen becomes RIAA’s highest certified Country artist of all time

Fresh off being named Billboard’s Top Artist of 2025, Morgan Wallen has added another historic milestone to his career, becoming the RIAA’s highest certified country artist of all time. The achievement follows an extraordinary year that also saw Wallen enter Spotify’s exclusive Billions Club with three songs — Whiskey Glasses, I Had Some Help with Post Malone, and Last Night — each surpassing one billion streams on the platform.

Wallen’s RIAA totals now stand at an astounding 239.5 million certified singles, including solo releases and collaborations, alongside 26 million certified albums. Those numbers place him not only at the top of country music history, but also as the third most-certified artist across all genres, trailing only Drake and Taylor Swift for solo titles. He additionally ranks as the second most-certified digital singles solo artist of all time. Remarkably, this success has unfolded in just seven years since his first Gold certifications arrived in 2018 for The Way I Talk and Up Down, with Whiskey Glasses — now officially 13x Platinum — following a year later.

RIAA Chairman and CEO Mitch Glazier praised Wallen’s rapid rise and lasting impact, noting that his success has been driven by deep fan connection, creative collaboration, and sustained audience engagement. Wallen now boasts credits on five singles that are Diamond certified or higher, underscoring the scale of his streaming dominance and cultural reach in modern music.

The momentum surrounding Wallen’s catalog continues to grow following the May 2025 release of his fourth studio album, I’m The Problem. The record was named Apple Music’s number one album worldwide and Spotify’s top U.S. album across all genres for 2025. Just seven months after its release, the album is already 4x Platinum certified, with 22 of its 37 tracks earning Gold status or higher. All songs across his previous albums, If I Know Me and Dangerous: The Double Album, are now RIAA certified as well.

Earlier projects continue to post historic numbers, with Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing At A Time now each certified 9x Platinum. Standout singles such as Last Night, which spent 16 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, and Wasted On You, a three-week country radio number one, have both reached 12x Platinum status. His 2019 collaboration with Diplo, Heartless, has also newly earned Diamond certification.

Looking ahead, Wallen is set to take his success back to the stage with the newly announced Still The Problem Tour in 2026. The 23-date stadium run will launch April 10 in Minneapolis and include two-night stops in most cities, as well as performances at major college football stadiums including Clemson, Florida, Michigan, and Alabama. A rotating lineup of support acts across the tour includes Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley, Thomas Rhett, Flatland Cavalry, Hudson Westbrook, and more, positioning the tour as one of the most anticipated live events of the year.

As his certifications continue to climb and his audience shows no sign of slowing, Morgan Wallen’s latest accolade cements his place not just at the top of country music, but among the most commercially successful artists in recorded music history.
