Rising country music sensation Ashland Craft marked a significant milestone in her burgeoning career with a memorable debut on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage last week. This momentous occasion was made even more special by the surprise appearance of Grand Ole Opry member and friend, Ashley McBryde, who introduced Ashland as she stepped into the famed circle for the first time. The two have a history of touring and co-writing together, adding to the excitement of the surprise.
The invitation for Ashland to perform at the Opry came from country superstar Cody Johnson, with whom she had previously toured.
“I am beyond honored and thrilled to have made my debut at the Grand Ole Opry,” shares Ashland Craft. “Receiving an invitation from Cody Johnson, someone I truly respect and have listened to for so long, made the moment even more special. I’ve dreamed of performing on that stage since I was a little girl, and sharing this incredible experience with my family, my friends from back home, my friends in town, and my team was truly unforgettable.”
Ashland Craft has been captivating audiences with her distinctive sound, showcased in her debut album ‘TRAVELIN’ KIND,' available everywhere now. Recognised as one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and Pandora’s Country Artists to Watch, Craft has quickly risen through the ranks with her undeniable talent and star quality.
Her recent releases, including ‘Wrong Kind of Keepin’ Me Up,' ‘Hooker' (her debut on SiriusXM The Highway), and ‘Night Owl' (co-written by Lainey Wilson and Shane Minor), have solidified her place as one of country music’s most exciting new voices.
This summer, Ashland will continue to make main stage appearances at festivals including Oregon Jamboree, Watershed Music Festival, Field & Stream Festival, and more.
