Olly Murs will join Radio 2 in the Park, taking place on Sunday 7th September 2025 in Chelmsford.
The news was announced this morning when Murs visited The Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills. Murs will perform at Hylands Park alongside the likes of Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Belinda Carlisle and Jessie J.
With seven studio albums under his belt, including five chart topping records, Murs is gearing up to release a new single this month, with an album due later in the year. The star is fresh from his hugely successful headline arena tour.
Murs said, “It’s always amazing to play in my home county and even better to top off an incredible summer of shows with a date there. Radio 2 have always supported me across my career, so being able to celebrate with them and so many great artists make this show even more special.”
As well as some of the world’s biggest popstars, the three-day pop juggernaut will see many of the station’s much-loved presenters take to the Radio 2 DJ stage. A host of big names from the Radio 2 presenting family, including Sara Cox, Trevor Nelson, Romesh Ranganathan and Michelle Visage, will keep crowds entertained when they perform sets on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday (5th – 7th September). Radio 2 DJs will also play on the main stage and introduce the acts.
