Laci Kaye Booth continues to find beauty in the wreckage on new song ‘Luck of the Draw’

Geffen Records artist Laci Kaye Booth has released her latest single, ‘Luck Of The Draw,' a hauntingly honest track about navigating chaos, accepting fate, and finding beauty in life’s messiest moments. With lyrics that surrender to the unpredictability of it all, Booth sings, “Blame it on the luck of the draw,” grounding the song in clear-eyed acceptance and emotional strength.

Written alongside Ryman Wooten, who also lends background vocals, and Ben West, who produced the track and Booth’s debut album ‘The Loneliest Girl In The World,' the song blends fragile vulnerability with resilient poise. Its accompanying visualizer, directed by Natalie Sakstrup (Zayn, Kylie Minogue), shows Booth weighed down by the cards she has been dealt, performing under the neon glow of a Nashville club.

“‘Luck of the Draw’ is about growing up in the chaos, finding beauty in the wreckage, and owning the hand you’re dealt,” Booth shared.

The new single follows her fiery release ‘George F****** Strait,' which made waves after its debut at CMA Fest earlier this year and has already earned more than half a million streams. Texas Monthly praised that track as a “sultry ode to the King of Country,” noting Booth’s mix of swagger and aching desire.

Booth has been busy on the road in 2025, making her Grand Ole Opry debut in March and touring throughout the summer. She is set to perform as a special guest at Lukas Nelson’s three-night residency at The Paramount Theatre in Austin (September 28–30) and at his October 2 show at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas. Booth will also appear at major events including Country Calling 2025, the Opry 100 Birthday Show, and the Greenville Country Music Festival. In October, she will join Parker McCollum on select dates of his arena tour, while also supporting The Marcus King Band and Ella Langley.
