Walter Presents is bringing Italian crime drama ‘Flowers Over the Inferno' to Channel 4 and C4 Streaming in March.
Starring Elena Sofia Ricci, the six-part series is created by Carlo Carlei. In the remote Italian Alps, the body of Mr. Valent, the engineer behind the local ski resort, is found murdered in the snow—his eyes gouged out. Just a day earlier, he had mysteriously disappeared. Police Commissioner Teresa Battaglia, along with her deputy Giacomo Parisi and new recruit Massimo Marini, is called in to investigate.
As Teresa digs deeper, all signs point to Mrs. Valent as the prime suspect. But the case takes a darker turn when a mysterious figure begins stalking children at the local school. Soon, more bodies turn up, and the investigation uncovers chilling links to the ski resort and old secrets hidden in the mountains.
With each new clue, Teresa’s own struggles come to light—her deteriorating mind is slowly betraying her, putting her ability to solve the case at risk.
As the bodies mount and danger closes in, can Teresa solve the case before she loses everything?
Walter Presents: ‘Flowers Over the Inferno' will launch on Channel 4 at midnight on 23rd March 2025. The full boxset will be available on C4 Streaming from Friday 21st March 2025.
