Walter Presents is bringing season 2 of ‘Helsinki Crimes' to More4 and C4 Streaming in March.
The series stars Alma Pöysti, Olli Rahkonen and Olga Temonen. It is created by Harri Virtanen and Matti Yrjänä Joensuu.
Spring brings a wave of challenges for Sergeant Timo Harjunpää and his partner, Onerva Nykänen. A cunning young man is running a love scam while secretly longing for his boss. Tensions explode in the streets as a deadly gang war erupts between rival youth groups from East Helsinki and Espoo after the murder of a rising rap star.
Meanwhile, the police are left puzzled by a bizarre intruder who sneaks into homes at night – lying next to sleeping residents without causing them harm. As if that weren’t enough, a new colleague with a drinking problem is shaking things up within the department.
But the challenges don't end at work. Onerva finds herself at a crossroads in her personal life, struggling to embrace a new relationship with a man she fears is too good for her – forcing her to question her future in the force.
For Harjunpää, family troubles loom large. His ageing father’s memory is slipping away, while his teenage daughter is venturing into dangerous territory, experimenting with alcohol and questionable friendships.
With their personal and professional lives on the line, can Harjunpää and Nykänen keep it all together?
Walter Presents: ‘Helsinki Crimes' season 2 will launch on More4 and C4 Streaming on 21st March 2025 with new episodes released weekly.
