The UK & Ireland tour of ‘Calamity Jane' sees multi-award-winning West End star Carrie Hope Fletcher take on the title role. The whip-crackin’ musical comedy classic has hit the road, marking ten years since the show last toured.
Joining Fletcher are Vinny Coyle as Wild Bill Hickok, Luke Wilson as Danny Gilmartin and Seren Sandham-Davies as Katie Brown. The cast also includes Peter Peverley, Hollie Cassar, Samuel Holmes, Molly-Grace Cutler, Richard Lock, Ben Mabberley, Fergus Murphy, Tomas Wolstenholme and Claire Greenway, with swings Emma Jane Morton, Lara Lewis, Jacob Leeson, Theo Diedrick and Stephen Scott Stark.
The tour opened at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre in January and will visit major venues across the UK and Ireland, including Manchester Opera House, Leeds Grand Theatre, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, Liverpool Empire, Dublin Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and London’s New Wimbledon Theatre. It plays at Bromley Churchill Theatre until Saturday 20th September.
Based on the beloved Doris Day movie, ‘Calamity Jane' features classic songs including ‘The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away)', ‘The Black Hills of Dakota', ‘Just Blew in from the Windy City' and the Oscar-winning ‘Secret Love'.
The production reunites the original creative team, with direction by Curve’s Nikolai Foster, choreography by Nick Winston, and design by Matthew Wright.
