Linkin Park is back with new music and a new tour, seven years after their last release and the death of Chester Bennington.
Original band members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn have recruited new members Emily Armstrong (of critically acclaimed band Dead Sara) as co-vocalist and Colin Brittain (songwriter/producer for G Flip, Illenium, One OK Rock) as drummer. Listen to the band's new single ‘The Emptiness Machine' below:
‘The Emptiness Machine' is the first taster from Linkin Park's new album ‘From Zero', which will be released on 15th November 2024 via Warner Records. The band has also announced the details of its ‘From Zero World Tour', which will feature 6 arena shows.
About the new era, Shinoda stated, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
