Andrew Lambrou has released his new single ‘Take My Breath Away' along with the accompanying music video.
Written by Lambrou with Cameron Robertson, the track is produced by Robertson. The music video, which you can see at the top of this article, is directed by Ntanis Ntarlas with styling from Michalis Tsoukas and hair-styling and make-up by Georgina Petrou.
‘Take My Breath Away' is Lambrou's first single since his Eurovision entry for Cyprus, ‘Break a Broken Heart'. The 25-year-old Australian singer, who is from a Greek-Cypriot family, rose to fame when took part on ‘The X-Factor' in Australia and reached the Top 20 in 2015. In 2022 he competed to represent Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest with his song ‘Electrify' but wasn't selected.
In October 2022 it was announced he would represent Cyprus at Eurovision with ‘Break a Broken Heart' and he finished 12th with 126 points from the jury. The song went on to be an international smash, giving Lambrou his biggest hit to date.
‘Take My Breath Away', released by Panik Records and City Pop Records, looks set to see the singer's star rise even higher. He's certainly an artist we're going to be keeping an eye on in the coming months.
