The synopsis for the documentary is:
An emotionally open and honest film portrait, Backstreet Boys: Show āEm What Youāre Made Of explores the highs and lows from boyhood to manhood that led the group to a London studio in 2012 to write a new album, make a film and plan their 20th anniversary re-launch. The reunion renewed friendships, but dynamic shifts reveal new and old tensions that need confronting and resolving. This is a surprising and rewarding journey filmed over two years that delves into the extremes of fame and fortune, betrayal and renewal.
āWe canāt wait to go back to the UK to treat our fans to a very special BSB performance alongside showcasing our film that we are so very proud of. We think the Brits and everyone who comes out to see it will love it!,ā say the Backstreet Boys.
Backstreet Boys: Show āEm What Youāre Made Of is directed by Stephen Kijak and stars original group members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, all of whom were producers on the film along with Mia Bays of Missing In Action Films.
