Backstreet Boys announce Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of

Backstreet Boys will celebrate their 20th anniversary by releasing new documentary Backstreet Boys: Show ā€˜Em What Youā€™re Made Of.

The documentary will be released in the UK and Ireland on Thursday 26th February 2015 and at 7pm on that day a live performance by the band broadcast by satellite and exclusive to cinemas. The band will perform some of their favourite tracks in this one-off event to celebrate the release of this highly anticipated 20th anniversary film.

The synopsis for the documentary is:

An emotionally open and honest film portrait, Backstreet Boys: Show ā€˜Em What Youā€™re Made Of explores the highs and lows from boyhood to manhood that led the group to a London studio in 2012 to write a new album, make a film and plan their 20th anniversary re-launch. The reunion renewed friendships, but dynamic shifts reveal new and old tensions that need confronting and resolving. This is a surprising and rewarding journey filmed over two years that delves into the extremes of fame and fortune, betrayal and renewal.

ā€˜We canā€™t wait to go back to the UK to treat our fans to a very special BSB performance alongside showcasing our film that we are so very proud of. We think the Brits and everyone who comes out to see it will love it!,ā€™ say the Backstreet Boys.

Backstreet Boys: Show ā€˜Em What Youā€™re Made Of is directed by Stephen Kijak and stars original group members Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson, all of whom were producers on the film along with Mia Bays of Missing In Action Films.
