Drew Baldridge is stepping into the biggest chapter of his career, propelled by a surge of first-time milestones that signal a major breakthrough for the rising country artist. Next week, he’ll celebrate his first sold-out headline show in Glasgow, Scotland — a landmark moment nearly twelve years after his move to Nashville and a testament to the growing demand for his gritty songwriting and energetic live shows. The achievement caps a year already marked by his first Australian tour, where he opened for Jelly Roll and expanded his global fan base.
Baldridge also made his acting debut this weekend in Hallmark Channel’s A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, further elevating his profile beyond the music world. His partnership with Hallmark continues through ‘Joy To Your World,' a holiday collaboration with Mickey Guyton that appears throughout the network’s Countdown to Christmas programming and is now available to stream.
Another milestone arrived during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where Baldridge and Guyton performed Joy To Your World on the Hallmark float, reaching thousands of parade-goers and millions watching nationwide. “Every one of these moments feels surreal,” Baldridge says. “I’ve chased these kinds of dreams for a long time, and to see them all happening at once is incredibly humbling. I’m just grateful for the fans who’ve believed in me from the start.”
As new music, screen appearances, and major performance moments continue to stack up, Baldridge’s season of firsts is shaping into a career-defining turning point. He keeps the momentum going this week as his headline Country Born Tour kicks off across Europe and the UK.
