Mariah Carey has confirmed that her new album ‘Here For It All' will be released on 26th September 2025.
Carey has been teasing fans about the release of MC16, her sixteenth studio album, for months. Recently she dropped the lead single ‘Type Dangerous‘ along with a bunch of remixes featuring Busta Rhymes and Big Sean, to name a few. New single ‘Sugar Sweet' is expected to be released this week following teases across Carey's social media.
The announcement of ‘Here For It All' was made via Carey's social media accounts. A countdown has been taking place since yesterday on Instagram as Carey recapped her 15 albums to date. In the new video, seen on Instagram, Carey walks past a black and white photo of herself, which is revealed to be the album cover. There is a short snippet of Carey singing ‘Here For It All' before the date is revealed.
‘Here For It All' is Carey's first studio album since 2018's ‘Caution'. Since then Carey has been busy with her Vegas residency ‘The Butterfly Returns' as well as performing a string on international shows. It's not clear at this stage if a new World Tour in support of her new record is on the cards.
The only two tracks known at the time of writing are ‘Type Dangerous' and new single ‘Sugar Sweet'. Carey posted two playful clips to tease ‘Sugar Sweet' – one where she was cleaning her luxurious apartment and the other where she was whipping up a sweet treat in the kitchen.
We'll bring you more news on ‘Here For It All' as it arrives.
