Riding high after a sold-out UK tour earlier this year, country-pop quartet First Time Flyers have announced the release of their debut album ‘Bound To Break' arriving September 12 via Lookout Mountain Records.
Alongside the album news, the band has dropped a new single titled ‘Stay,' a moving track inspired by vocalist Poppy Fardell’s personal journey. The song explores the emotional tension between standing by someone carrying deep emotional scars and knowing when it’s time to walk away for your own well-being.
‘Stay' was first aired on Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 show last month and marked a key moment for the band, coinciding with their performances at this year’s Country 2 Country Festival (C2C). Their C2C appearance included a packed set at the Indigo stage and an energetic performance later in the day on the Big Entrance stage.
To celebrate the release of ‘Bound To Break,' First Time Flyers—made up of Vicki Manser, Jake Morrell, Poppy Fardell, and Tim Prottey-Jones—will hit the road again for their most extensive UK headline tour yet. The 12-date run kicks off September 17 in Manchester and wraps October 10 in Edinburgh.
