Parker McCollum made a major announcement last Friday night at Rodeo Houston, revealing the title and release date of his highly anticipated fifth studio album. Set for release on June 27 via UMG Nashville, ‘Parker McCollum' was unveiled to a sold-out crowd, marking the country star’s third consecutive sold-out appearance at the iconic event.
The self-titled album is described as McCollum’s most honest and raw project yet, blending introspective songwriting with the timeless sound of classic country. Produced by Grammy-winning Frank Liddell and recorded at New York City’s legendary Power Station studio, the album explores themes of McCollum’s wild years, personal pressures, mistakes, and the blessings that have shaped him. Writing on nearly every track, McCollum collaborated with top-tier songwriters including Jon Randall, Randy Rogers, Lori McKenna, Randy Montana, Liz Rose, and Natalie Hemby to craft an album that stays true to his Texas roots while appealing to a broad country audience.

McCollum’s performance at Rodeo Houston was nothing short of electrifying, playing a 12-song set to a record-breaking crowd of 71,216 fans. The night was filled with special moments, including the rodeo debut of his son, Major, and a surprise on-stage proposal that had the packed house cheering.
With the album already available for pre-save, fans can look forward to hearing McCollum’s latest work as he continues to solidify his place in modern country music.
