French series ‘The Mantis' is coming to C4 Streaming courtesy of Walter Presents in March.
The series is written by Alice Chegaray-Bregunot, Grégoire Demaison, Nicolas Jean, Laurent Vivier and Alexandre Laurent. It stars Carole Bouquet, Jacques Weber, Fred Testot and Frederique Bel.
Over 25 years ago, Jeanne Deber – infamously known as ‘The Mantis' – struck fear across France as a notorious serial killer. Now, a chilling copycat is on the loose, and the police have no choice but to turn to the woman who started it all.
Jeanne has one condition: she will only cooperate if she can speak to one person—her estranged son, Damien Carrot.
Once a traumatized boy who witnessed his mother’s crimes, Damien became a police officer in a desperate bid to escape her shadow and seek redemption.
