Multi-platinum country artist Niko Moon recently joined forces with Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC on CBS Mornings to spotlight the critical importance of mental health awareness. The duo highlighted the 1 Million Strong initiative, which aims to create inclusive and supportive spaces at concerts and festivals. These spaces encourage open discussions about mental wellness and offer resources for those in need. Fans can catch the inspiring segment here.
“Music has always been a source of healing for me, and I want it to be the same for my fans,” Niko shared. “I’m proud to partner with 1 Million Strong to help create concert experiences that support sobriety and recovery while still being full of joy and connection.”
Niko’s commitment to mental wellness goes beyond the stage. Through the Happy Cowboy Foundation, a nonprofit he co-founded with his wife, Anna, he’s working to provide resources for individuals navigating mental health challenges, ensuring they have access to essential support.
Amid his advocacy efforts, Niko is also bringing his feel-good music to more fans this spring. He has announced new dates for his THESE ARE THE NIGHTS tour, adding stops in Canada and the Pacific Northwest. The expanded leg will feature rising country stars David J and Kalsey Kulyk on select dates. Tickets for the newly added shows will go on sale this Friday, January 17, at 10 a.m. local time.
The tour celebrates Niko’s hit EP, THESE ARE THE NIGHTS, which includes fan-favourites like ‘Money Can’t Buy' and ‘Night’s Still Young.' Known for his infectious energy and uplifting storytelling, Niko continues to inspire fans around the world. He will be appearing at this year's C2C festival in London, Glasgow and Belfast in March, spreading his music and messages of joy across the UK.
