The trailer for season 8 of ‘Elite' has been released and it's the final season for the long-running Netflix teen drama.
In the action-packed trailer, it looks like Joel (Fernando Lindez) is the victim at the centre of this season's murder mystery. Fans may remember that in season 7 Joel was torn between Omar (Omar Ayuso) and Iván (André Lamoglia), ultimately breaking up with Omar to pursue a relationship with Iván. Well, by the looks of the trailer there'll be no happy ending for those two:
The trailer gives fans a good glimpse at what's to come. Amidst the expected sex, drugs and murder, there's a few glimpses of the return of Nadia (Mina El Hammani) who hasn't been seen since season 4 and there's some newcomers including Ane Rot as Emilia Krawietz, Nuno Gallego as Héctor Krawietz, Alexandra Pino as Guillermina, and Mario Ermito as Pier.
Even though it's not addressed in the trailer, we expect that the final season will also deal with the murder of Raúl (Álex Pastrana) who was pushed off a balcony by Carmen (Maribel Verdú) the mother of Iván and Chloe (Mirela Balić) after she found out he'd been abusing her daughter.
We're hoping for some appearances by other members of the cast from the earlier series but if they are going to happen, the trailer gives nothing away.
