Singer-songwriter Natascha Myers will independently release her EP Songs From A Hardwood Floor on 24th September 2019.
The EP is produced by Chris Condon and Leigh Houison of LFT Studios and features five songs. Mixing traditional Country with a modern Americana approach, the EP is a showcase for Myers’ distinctive and powerful vocals as well as her lyrical prowess.
The EP’s title track, a gentle acoustic-led ballad, had its video premiered on CMT.
Hailing from Iowa, Myers is influenced by the likes of Lori McKenna, Donovan Woods and Lee Ann Womack. She now lives in Nashville where she’s pursuing her career as a recording artist.
āI have my Midwest upbringing, in part, to thank for being passionate about strangersā stories, the seemingly minute details that make life beautiful, the value of a hard dayās work, and how to keep both feet on the ground when you need to.ā
Myers studied music at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. While there she released her debut project, Do Not Go Gentle, comprised of four tracks and she toured regionally while balancing her studies.
Songs From A Hardwood Floor will be available to stream and download from 24th September 2019.
