Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single MedellĆn featuring Maluma.
The video debuted tonight during a live special on MTV, which saw Madonna taking questions from fans around the world. There was a small guest appearance from Maluma too, who appeared via satellite from Miami.
Watch the video below:
In the MedellĆn video, Madonna is seen praying at the start and she makes some bold statements relating to her long and celebrated career. She then turns Cha Cha teacher as she meets Maluma in the clip and the two are drawn to one another.
Following those scenes, Madonna and Maluma huddle close while they smoke cigars and get closer. The video then switches to a big party where Madonna dances across a table, kisses Maluma and dances for him. As the clip ends, Madonna and Maluma ride off together on horses.
MedellĆn was directed by Diana Kunst and Mau MorgĆ³ with choreography by Megan Lawson.
The track is the first single taken from Madonna’s upcoming album Madame X, which will be released on 14th June 2019. The album is inspired by Madonna’s time living in Lisbon and it promises to incorporate world rhythms and influences.
