The sixth celebrity left Strictly Come Dancing 2018 tonight and it was Dr Ranj Singh’s turn to depart the dancefloor.
Dr Ranj and his partner Jeanette Manrara found themselves in the bottom two opposite Charles Venn and his partner Karen Clifton. Both couples danced again before the judges chose who they wanted to save.
Craig Revel Horwood was the only judge to save Dr Ranj and Janette meaning that they were out of the competition and Charles and Karen moved through to next week.
Dr Ranj told Tess Daly, āI canāt express how much this has meant to me. I have made friends for life. Iāve done something that I only could have dreamed of. I just want to say to anyone who ever dreams of this you can, you really can, ācause Iām here and Iāve done it.ā
Janette added, āI just want to say he is an incredible human being for what he does as an actual job. He is there saving childrenās lives and he is a special, special man. On this show you get to celebrate people that have never done something like this before and for me Ranj is the epitome about what Strictly Come Dancing is about. I couldnāt have asked for a better friend, a better partner or better series I love you so so much. Thank you.ā
Tonight’s results show features a special performance by our professional dancers joined by The Kingdom Choir in a tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin as well a musical performance from Jess Glynne.
The remaining couples will take to the dance floor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 10th November at 7pm. Take a look at all the action from tonight’s results show in our gallery below:
