Kip Moore celebrated his debut album Up All Night being certified Platinum by the RIAA this week.
Moore was surprised by Universal Music Group Nashvilleās Mike Dungan and Cindy Mabe with a commemorative plaque during an intimate event, hosted by CMT’s Leslie Fram. Up All Night, released in 2012, spawned three number one hits – Beer Money, Hey Pretty Girl and Somethin’ Bout a Truck.
In September Moore will release his new album Slowheart (8th September in the US and 15th September in the UK). The album’s lead single More Girls Like You is currently in the Top 15 and it’s the fastest-rising single of Moore’s career to date.
Moore will be back in the UK to headline a tour in October, which will see him play a London show with Drake White and The Big Fire as part of Country Music Week.
