Olympian Greg Rutherford is the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
Following last night’s spectacular live show in Blackpool, Greg and his partner Natalie Lowe found themselves in the bottom two. They competed in the dance-off against Claudia Fragapane and her partner AJ Pritchard.
After both couples had dance again, the judges unanimously voted to save Claudia and AJ meaning that Greg and Natalie were going home.
Greg opened up to Tess about his experience on the show saying, āItās been one of the most of incredible things in my life. Iāve been very lucky in my life, Iāve done some amazing things but this is truly one of the best things Iāve done. Iāve much such a good friend here.
Natalie added, āYou are an amazing man, youāve never had any dance experience and you got out there and youāve just shown the world that you can dance. Honestly this has been the most incredible experience of my life performing and dancing every Saturday night with you; I wouldnāt have changed it for the world. Sorry I couldnāt get you any further.ā
The results show tonight also included musical performances from Rick Astley and Simple Minds.
Next weekend all six couples will dance a Cha Cha at the same time in the Cha Cha Challenge, which is brand new for 2016 and is where everyone will be hoping to impress the judges for valuable extra points.
