Keith Urban releases deluxe album & preps for premiere of new TV show The Road

It’s a milestone weekend for four-time GRAMMY Award winner Keith Urban, who is closing out his High and Alive World Tour at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, releasing the deluxe edition of his latest album ‘High' and gearing up for Sunday’s premiere of his new CBS Original series The Road.

The ‘High (Deluxe Edition)' release celebrates the conclusion of Urban’s worldwide tour with six live recordings captured throughout the run. In addition to the original studio tracks, the deluxe album features live versions of ‘Straight Line,' ‘Go Home W U' (originally recorded with Lainey Wilson), and fan-favourite performances like ‘Heart Like A Hometown' and ‘Messed Up As Me.' Two songs performed on select nights, ‘Laughin’ All The Way To The Drank' and ‘Chuck Taylors,' also make their debut on the expanded tracklist, offering fans an even deeper glimpse into the energy of Urban’s live shows.

On Sunday, Urban takes on a new role with the television premiere of The Road on CBS (9:00–10:30 PM ET/PT). The series, executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Blake Shelton, David Glasser, Lee Metzger and Urban himself, follows 12 musicians touring concert venues across the U.S. as Urban’s opening acts. Each episode features live performances and competition as the artists vie for a grand prize that includes a record deal, $250,000 and a performance slot at the Stagecoach Music Festival.

Country star Gretchen Wilson serves as the show’s tour manager while Urban is joined by Shelton and fellow country artists Jordan Davis, Karen Fairchild, Dustin Lynch, and Brothers Osborne. Together, they mentor the contestants and—alongside live venue audiences—determine who advances to the next stop on the tour.

With a tour finale, a deluxe album release and a television debut all unfolding in one weekend, Keith Urban continues to prove why he remains one of country music’s most dynamic and influential entertainers.
