Drew Baldridge’s ‘Tough People’ is most-added song at Country radio in first week

Country artist Drew Baldridge has scored a new milestone as his latest single ‘Tough People' became the No. 1 most-added song at country radio this week. This achievement comes right after his first No. 1 hit and marks an impressive debut with BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records in partnership with his own label, Lyric Ridge Records. The powerful track is now available on all streaming platforms, where fans can listen here.

Produced by Nick Schwarz, ‘Tough People' was co-written by Baldridge alongside country music heavyweights Adam Sanders, Jordan Walker, and Luke Combs. With lyrics that emphasise resilience—“hard work pays off, good beats evil, and tough times make tough people”—the song embodies a message that’s been deeply personal for Baldridge as he’s pursued his dreams amidst his own share of challenges over the past few years.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better reception from radio to ‘Tough People,’” Baldridge shared. “I am so thankful they love it as much as I do, and I’m excited for fans to hear it.”

Baldridge’s dedicated fan base will get a chance to hear ‘Tough People' live as he wraps up his headlining U.S. tour, where he’ll also perform fan-favorites like his GOLD-certified hit ‘She’s Somebody’s Daughter.' In 2025, he’ll join Cody Johnson on the Leather Deluxe Tour before crossing the Atlantic to perform at the C2C Festival and select European dates alongside Chayce Beckham.
