Meghan Linsey unveils personal single “Maybe I’m Crazy”

Meghan Linsey has released personal new single “Maybe I'm Crazy”, which is available to stream and download now.

The song was written by Linsey and Tyler Cain, the track marks her latest release of 2026 and continues to build toward her forthcoming full-length album later this year. Take a listen to the song below:

Stripping back any pretense, “Maybe I’m Crazy” captures Linsey at her most exposed, trading fiery defiance for quiet confession. Anchored by the refrain “maybe I’m crazy or maybe the world’s just too cruel,” the song explores the internal battle between self-perception and reality, offering an unflinching look at depression, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure to hold it all together.

“The hook of the song is ‘maybe I’m crazy or maybe the world’s just too cruel,’ and that really is the heart of it,” Linsey shares. “I wrote this during a season where just getting out of bed felt like a win, so it’s coming from a really honest place. I’ve always been the strong one for everyone else, but this song is about what it feels like when you don’t know how to save yourself.”

She continues, “I got really good at hiding it and just putting on a face, the show must go on, ya know? But this feels like my admission. Writing has always been how I work through the heavy stuff. I don’t think it’s about being broken, necessarily, it’s more about being honest in a world that doesn’t always make space for that.”

Where her recent release ‘Witches Like Me' leaned into themes of resilience and reclaiming power, “Maybe I’m Crazy” offers the other side of that story, the quieter, more fragile moments that often go unseen. Together, the songs showcase Linsey’s range not only as a vocalist but as a storyteller unafraid to confront both strength and struggle.

A #1 Billboard artist with multiple CMA and ACM nominations, Linsey has built a career defined by fearless authenticity and genre-defying artistry, blending country, soul, pop, and rock into a sound uniquely her own. Fans first discovered her as one-half of the acclaimed duo Steel Magnolia before she rose to national prominence as a finalist on The Voice, with performances that topped iTunes and Billboard charts.
