C2C artist Waylon Wyatt teams up with C2C alumni Wyatt Flores for new single ‘Didn’t Forget’

Rising country artist Waylon Wyatt has joined forces with fellow singer-songwriter Wyatt Flores for the first time on their new single, ‘Didn’t Forget,' released via Music Soup/Darkroom Records. The collaboration pairs two of country’s most compelling young voices on a harmony-driven exploration of heartbreak and betrayal, bringing a deeply personal connection full circle—Wyatt was the artist behind Wyatt’s very first concert at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The track opens with a sweeping progressive guitar strum, immediately setting an emotional tone as Waylon delivers raw, unfiltered heartache, punctuated by the line, “I forgave, but I didn’t forget.” Wyatt’s verse follows, delving into the vulnerability of unresolved pain and building toward a powerful electric guitar climax. With its combination of intensity and emotional depth, the song examines love, loss, and the lasting impact of betrayal.

Waylon Wyatt shared his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “It was a dream to get to write a song with Wyatt Flores. My very first concert was when he played Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, OK. I still can't get over it and I love this song.”

The single follows Waylon’s recent release, ‘In Loving Melody,' the first single from his forthcoming debut album and his second collaboration with acclaimed producer Ian Fitchuk, known for his work with Kacey Musgraves, Maggie Rogers, and Jelly Roll. Earlier this month, Wyatt supported Sam Barber on select North American dates, and in March he will head overseas for the C2C Festival in Europe, including headlining shows in Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen.

‘Didn’t Forget' showcases the powerful chemistry between the two Wyatts, blending their voices into a heartfelt anthem that captures both the pain of betrayal and the resilience of moving forward.
