Listen: Troy Cartwright releases new single “That’s Alright”

Troy Cartwright has released his new single “That's Alright”, which is available to stream and download now.

The new track sees the prolific songwriter turn inward, capturing the quiet strength it takes to walk away, stop looking back, and finally see life in full color again. Additionally, he announces that his next project, ‘Etc. All The Rest' will be released on 20th March 2026.

“'That's Alright' is about leaving it all behind, or maybe just cutting your losses,” Cartwright shares. “When I wrote it, I was having one of those days where I thought, ‘What if I just get in my truck, drive away, and never come back?' I think we all feel that way sometimes: underappreciated, misunderstood, and looking for a change of scenery. This song is the soundtrack to that getaway, a reminder that sometimes the best move is to stop looking over your shoulder and just drive.”

“That's Alright” captures the quiet realisation that closure does not always come with answers, only acceptance. Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, Cartwright leans into emotional clarity, choosing calm over chaos and peace over resentment.

Cartwright's next EP features 5 new songs, all of which showcase his powerful relationship with songwriting, the architecture of a strong song, and what his longtime fans have come to expect. With a gift for transforming everyday emotional crossroads into timeless reflections, Cartwright further solidifies his place as one of Nashville's most sincere and compelling voices.

Cartwright's fanbase continues to grow organically, with more than 200 million global streams. In addition to his music, he hosts the popular podcast ‘Ten Year Town', featuring conversations with artists and industry heavyweights, including HARDY, Luke Laird, and Jessi Alexander.
