Think ‘Slang’ meets ‘Rocket’: Def Leppard return with new song ‘Rejoice’ ahead of Vegas shows

Def Leppard have unveiled their brand-new single ‘Rejoice,' marking a powerful new chapter as the band prepares for their highly anticipated return to Las Vegas. The dynamic hard rock track arrives ahead of Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace – The Las Vegas Residency, which launches on February 3, 2026, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Available now via EMI Records on all streaming platforms, ‘Rejoice' sets the tone for what fans can expect from the band’s latest era, pairing anthemic energy with renewed intensity.

Lead singer Joe Elliott describes the song as a journey from darkness to elevation, sparked by a lyrical concept centered on rising up from rock bottom. Guitarist Phil Collen brought the idea to life with a long-held riff, building it into a tribal, loop-driven foundation that immediately clicked when Elliott added vocals. With additional rhythmic elements developed by Ronan McHugh, the track evolved into what the band describes as a powerful chant, delivering a harder edge and extra momentum compared to their recent work. Fans will be able to hear ‘Rejoice' performed live alongside Def Leppard’s classic hits throughout the Las Vegas residency, which runs through February 28, 2026, following the band’s previously sold-out residencies in 2013 and 2019.

Beyond Las Vegas, Def Leppard will take their live show to the UK and Europe in June and July 2026, joined by special guests Extreme on most dates. The tour includes a major headline performance at London’s The O2 and the band’s first show in Paris in nearly 30 years, further underscoring their enduring global appeal. Tickets and additional information for all upcoming shows are available via ticketmaster.com/defleppard and defleppard.com.
