Watch the new trailer as Eric Church Brings ‘Evangeline vs. The Machine’ to IMAX

Eric Church is taking his 2025 album ‘Evangeline vs. The Machine' to the big screen. With the official trailer debuting on TODAY, the 11-time GRAMMY nominee has unveiled plans for a special IMAX-only theatrical release arriving this February across the U.S. and Canada. Fans can find the full list of locations and purchase tickets now through IMAX.com/EricChurch, where the exclusive, limited engagement is already generating major buzz.

The film marks a first-of-its-kind collaboration between IMAX, MCA, Mercury Studios and Q Prime South, delivering a concert experience built specifically for IMAX’s unmatched sound and visual power. Filmed over two nights at The Pinnacle in Nashville, the production captures Church performing ‘Evangeline vs. The Machine' in its entirety before launching into a set of career-defining hits. Songs like ‘Desperate Man,' ‘Give Me Back My Hometown,' ‘Sinners Like Me, Mistress Named Music' and ‘Springsteen' are reimagined with a massive ensemble including a six-piece band, four-piece horn section, four-piece strings, an eight-piece choir, and longtime collaborator Joanna Cotten. Enhanced by IMAX’s 12-channel audio and expansive screen format, the performance promises a scale fans have never experienced from Church before.

“This project was never about fitting into a box – it’s about breaking the damn thing wide open,” Church says of the film. “Seeing it in IMAX takes that to another level. The scale and sound experience is like nothing else.”

Alongside the theatrical release, Church is also rolling out a companion 19-track live album, Evangeline vs. The Machine: Comes Alive (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Fans can pre-order and pre-save the project now, with two preview tracks — Desperate Man (Live At The Pinnacle) and Knives Of New Orleans (Live At The Pinnacle) — already available to stream.

The film arrives as Church continues his acclaimed Free The Machine Tour, which now includes 24 newly announced dates stretching into 2026. More information on the IMAX release, soundtrack, and tour can be found at EricChurch.com, as well as on his social media channels.
