After years away from the road and following Jon Bon Jovi’s much-publicized vocal cord surgery, Bon Jovi are back — and fans couldn’t be more thrilled. The rock legends have announced their first major tour in years, with an incredible nine-night run at Madison Square Garden, two massive stadium shows at Wembley, and further shows in Scotland, and in Dublin. For lifelong fans who’ve watched Jon battle through his vocal challenges with determination and grace, the news feels like a triumphant comeback. Social media has erupted with excitement, with fans reminiscing about past tours and expressing disbelief that they’ll finally get to sing along to the classics again — live, loud, and together.
There’s a palpable sense that these shows will be more than just concerts — they’ll be celebrations of resilience, nostalgia, and rock ’n’ roll unity. From the die-hards who caught the band on their Slippery When Wet tour to younger generations discovering the anthems anew, the anticipation is electric. The question now buzzing among fans: what will the setlist look like? Will it be a journey through their greatest hits or a deeper dive into hidden gems from across four decades of music? Here’s our best prediction of what songs might make the cut…
This is not necessarily songs we'd like the band to play because we don't think we'll ever hear ‘Something to Believe In' or ‘Let it Rock' ever again. The prediction is based around what we THINK Jon might choose that best suits his voice, his unwavering belief in Bon Jovi not being seen as a nostalgia band and what the band have tended to play the most in the last 20 years. There's a slot in there for ‘Only Lonely' or ‘In and Out of Love' in case Jon feels charitable enough to dip into their second album but he's not done that for many years – we just hope the occasion and the import of the shows gets the better of him this time!
The odd song is an either/ or situation in case Jon wants to swap the sets up – particularly in that run of Madison Square Gardens shows in New York.
